The design of the kitchen should take 1-5 days after the measurements have been certified.

Absolutely. Our designers are mobile; they have an electronic portfolio that has a wide selection of finished jobs.

Firstly, ideas and measurements if possible and also any catalogues or pictures of kitchens that have caught your interest.

At times yes, but also at times no. The best way is to have every single detail and accessory on paper so the calculation can be made, due to different materials priced higher or lower it is never a good idea to give out estimates. In case of a misunderstanding of figures half-way through the job.

Yes. We have 3 teams in total – the design / quotes team, the manufacturers and the installers. All are employees of Tasker Joinery.

Yes. We are equipped with high end tradesman that are our main sub contractors. This includes: Plumbers, Electricians, Tilers, Gyprockers, etc who we regularly deal with and trust as our own employees.

In some cases, we do this. Usually only if the kitchen is not so old but the panel’s bench tops or doors are damaged. If people just want to give their kitchen a face lift they are often disappointed when beneath the new facade an old unstable structure remains. In this case we advise spending or saving a little more to replace the whole kitchen. This needs not involve other trades, new splash backs or even new appliances right away.

Usually a laminate based kitchen takes 2 – 3 weeks, whereas a polyurethane based kitchen may take 3 – 5 weeks due to fabrications of doors by the finishers.

If it’s a laminate kitchen with a laminate bench top with tiling used as the splash back, the lead time is 1 – 2 days installed and completed, which includes all the trades. Though if the kitchen has inclusions of Caesarstone bench top the lead time may be 1 – 2 days for the cabinet, then a further 2 – 5 days for the stone be installed.

If it’s a laminate kitchen with a laminate bench top it’s 30% deposit on acceptance of the quote with the balance due on completion. However, if the kitchen has a stone bench top and glass splash back the terms are:

  • 30% Deposit on acceptance of the quote
  • 60% on installation of the stone
  • Balance on installation of glass splash back
